I use a modern Ford Fiesta for teaching in. My car is a small hatchback making it easy to learn to drive in, especially the manoeuvres, but it is big enough inside to be comfortable for everyone.
My car has a 1.4 Turbo Diesel engine so it is quite nippy round town and has enough power to be comfortable on the motorways. Been a smaller engine also means it is an efficient little car. It is air conditioned for comfort all year round.
I have always owned Fiestas as they have always proved very reliable and nice cars to drive. They are also fairly cheap to insure and repair, should anything go wrong!
